Found thread, it’s a 5.7L LS1. I didn’t recognize the plastics because the engine is out of a Holden Statesman.

Figured it was a Holden engine, thought maybe it was out of a Holden SS-v or something.

You sir are correct. That is the best example of a sleeper I have seen in a long time. Even down to the fake exhaust. Normally tires and rims are a giveaway that something is up.
